The outside material looks like leather but is actually made of some glossy, textured thick material which wipes clean without stains. The inside fabric is thin, similar to the Kushies wet bags, and also look easy to clean. I have the red one, which is slightly more fuchia than pictured. There are pockets on both sides, so your stuff can be organized well. I love the print on the inside. And I love that it comes with extras (changing pad, pacifier holder, wallet). The only down side is that it doesn’t close completely on the top. The magnetic snap on the top is only an inch wide, so you can see everything inside the bag even though it is snapped shut. This might be a convenient feature for some people, but I would prefer to have a little more privacy and not have to worry about things falling out if my bag fell over.
I’ve been looking at these 2 JJ Cole diaper bags Jj Cole Diaper bag on line but I can not find any reviews on them. Do any of you own one of these bags? If so, how do you like it? Is it big enough to hold all of the essentials for a newborn? Thanks!!

This is the perfect diaper bag. Pockets and space available is great. Long shoulder strap or shorter handles nice.
My mother purchased this diaper bag in the Cocoa Tree pattern as a baby shower gift when I was pregnant with my little boy. It is so pretty and I’ve gotten lots of complements from it. The bag is roomy with lots of pockets and very modern looking. I’ve been using it for the past 9 months now and it still looks as good as the day I received it. I believe that it is very well made – all of the seams, zippers, snaps and other hardware are sturdy. This bag holds lots of stuff – perhaps too much! I tend to carry everything but the kitchen sink when I leave home. Many times this bag has been loaded to the brim. It can get heavy. It is easy to clean – just use a wet cloth and wipe it down. Once Carter (my baby) outgrows the diaper bag stage, I plan to use this bag to carry my DSLR and other photography gear. I also have the Graco SnugRide 32 Infant Car Seat, Zurich and the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Stroller, Zurich. So, when I’m out and about I have quite a nice set up. I love my Cocoa Tree diaper bag!!!
This bag is wonderful. It has plenty of room for everything I need for two kids.
I purchased a baby bella mya carrier cover from this seller. They sent me the wrong carrier. I have emailed and called multiple times. Someone called back once saying they were checking the tracking of the correct carrier. I never received it. They will not return phone calls, nor answer emails. Horrible customer service. I have read several reviews stating the same issue. They have responded to other negative reviews saying the product was returned to them after multiple attempts to ship. If that is the case, why not respond to an email or phone call and obtain the correct shipping address?? Amazing the incorrect carrier made it to my house just fine. They also responded to others saying that they have emailed and to check your spam folder. Nothing there either. This seller has horrible customer service! The worst I have ever experienced. Buyer beware. . .
In the product reviews I read how small this bag was, but I was still surprised when I got it…it works great for a secondary diaper bag to make quick trips to the store, but it’s not the only diaper bag you will need. I love the pocket on the back for stashing my phone, keys, and wallet.
This bag is really cute, well-made and highly functional for moms that are making quick trips or that don’t pack much in the first place. The changing mat is a good size, with slightly more padding in the head area (not much, but hey it’s supposed to be light). The rest of the pad is not padded but the material is thick enough to offer some protection from really hard surfaces. The pad folds up into a thin rectangle with a small velcro fastener.
I put several diapers in the main compartment along with a thin wipes case, a quart-size ziploc bag holding a clean bodysuit in case of a blowout, a burp cloth, and one of those little canisters with diaper size trash sacks (Munchkin?). That packs it pretty tightly, but not overly so.
The other compartment is designed to function as a wallet/purse area, with several slots for credit cards/drivers license, a little side pocket that gathers at the top (no zipper) but is good for lipstick and a couple of other small items. The compartment itself still has room for keys, a cell phone and a thin wallet or checkbook.
I’m on baby number three and LOVE this lighter concept, but remember vividly that as a first-time mom I wanted the big cool diaper bag with lots of room for bottles, extra outfits, a few toys, etc. Turns out you don’t need all that stuff in the newborn to 6-month stage if you’re breastfeeding. After six months you’re more likely to pack sippy cups, jars of food, toys, etc. And if you venture out with more than one kid, you’ll need their sippy cups too. So all in all, this is a good product for one baby, may not get used much by Dad if it has a girly print and as it looks like a purse, but at $20 I still thought it was worth it for my use. It does fit into a larger diaper bag, but it is pretty big on its own and you can find smaller pods that don’t include extra spaces for wallets, etc, that would fit better into a diaper bag.
The bag is pretty and convenient if you intend to carry virtually NOTHING! It is really small. It certainly isn’t useful for being away from for more than 2 hours.
