We got this hat when my son was 3 months & it would NOT go over his head. Not even a little bit. & of course I didnt have time to deal with a return, so we still have it with the tags on it. I would just order the next size up. Its a super cute hat.
What kind of trade should I make?

Bought this for the bedroom for the middle of the night diaper changes. Works great, nice big mat, perfect fit for a large box of wipes. Plenty or room for diapers and the drawer is nice for vaseline, and little stuff. Drawer is a bit hard to pull in and out, but still is functional. Would recommend.
I had a pile of diapers and a box of wipes in my living room by the pack n’ play we have up in there with the changing table. I wanted something to consolodate that so that it looked a tad bit nicer. This thing has been great for that purpose. I don’t use the drawer much, I saw in other reviews where people complain about it. It’s a little snug and hard to move, but I actually keep a wipes refill in there, so it doesn’t open and shut much.
Got this as a gift and love it, use it everyday, several times a day. Would tell anyone to buy this. I have also bought 2 others to give as gifts for friends. LOVE, LOVE this! It is well built and when my child does not need it for diapers and wipes, It will make a cute little box for toys or for them to put things in or even cute decor in their room. The drawer on it looks small but it holds a lot more stuff than you would think. A must have for busy moms!
We keep this in the den for quick changes. It hold everything, unpacks easily with one hand, and stores discreetly when not in use. It looks great with our modern decor and doesn’t scream “I have a baby!” when we have company.
I bought this to prevent the carseat straps from digging into my daughter’s neck and leaving awful marks like it had been. Although it is currently winter and she is usually wearing a winter coat, it seems to do the job. If I find differently when it gets warm again I will add to the review. If you tighten the carseat straps enough I don’t see how it would be any more unsafe than without them.
I needed a strap for my seatbelt and found those on amazon they looked cute in pink so I bought them, when I received them they were so small, these straps are for babies. I’m still using it and its comfortable and cute but they are not for adult seat belt covers.
I like this since I never like the straps of a carseat, they can really hurt ur newborn baby’s skin. These are soft, can be used on both sides (reversible) and easy to use.
My carseat came w/ pads that could not be removed. The pads can get pretty gross after your baby spits up on them which is pretty much inevitable. These strap covers are very soft and most importantly are removable/washable. I highly recommend them.
It doesn’t fit my 5 month old and I ordered the 6-12 month size…cute but I guess I will pass it on to a friend with a newborn because it’s not worth shipping back.
I have bought many JJ Cole products and have always been satisfied with their quality. This hat is no exception. The hat looks really cute, soft and warm. However, it’s way smaller than I’d expected. I bought size 0-6months for my then 3 month old daughter, whose headsize was in the 5th percentile. It was tight on her head and I could tell that she was uncomfortable, she kept scratching her head as if trying to take the hat off. I’m not sure if it was tight because I washed it, or because that’s how it came in. It was used only once and I had to put it away. Too bad I couldn’t return it.
This was the first and may be only thing my wife approved of that I bought for my baby without her pryer knowledge.
This hat is very cute, which is what drew me to it when I was pregnant. But reality set in after my twins were born. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros:
soft, warm, cute.
Cons:
Far outweigh the Pros
1. Biggest disadvantage is that this hat is not flexible. Therefore, it only fits the head of your child if their head is just the right size and shaped correctly. I had twins that were born in January, and from January through May (all cold months for us) while their heads were growing and changing, I could never find a time when the hats fit properly.
2. The shape of the hat is not a common shape for a baby’s head. They are too tall for their heads, or at least my children’s heads. This would not be a big issue if the hats were flexible (see con #1).
In the end, I was never able to use these cute caps, which made me sad and regret that I got them.
This has been a godsend. Our son was born in Sept. 2009 and we have had this on his carseat since October. We don’t have to worry about trying to put him in a coat and hoping to god the straps fit over him. I walk with him daily (even when it’s 20 degrees) in his stroller and when we get home he still toasty warm. This is a great product and I plan to buy the toddler version as well!
I was loaned one of these for our third baby and cannot tell you how upset I was that I didn’t have one for the first two kids!!! This is probably my most favorite baby item and definitely something I cannot live without! It is so wonderful to not have to bundle up the baby in a larger than life snowsuit for a simple trip to the grocery store. The fact that you can simply unzip the top when baby becomes too warm while shopping is a added bonus. This will definitely be my default baby gift to anyone who lives in a cold weather climate!
I love how it keeps the baby nice and warm!
But when I washed it the the Velcro shreds and makes a mess and unable to be used.
I have followed the instructions.
I returned it thinking it was a defect come to find out the 2nd one did it too! Besides that I did not even dry it! Very upset about it!
The pocket for the pacifier is a lifesaver and this kept our baby warm through the winter. We had tried other carseat blankets but this was properly snug and the material was thicker and softer. The zipper is a little tough at first but with time became quite smooth. We bought this in Soho (brown) to go with the Sahara Chicco Keyfit carseat and it matched beautifully! Definitely worth the price for ease of use through an airport and while traveling to not worry about blankets getting blown away. For spring we now use the JJ Cole Bundle Me Lite – Taupe which doesn’t have the pocket but perfect material for this warm weather. You will not be disappointed, JJ Cole always delivers!
These boxes look very cute for storing items in the nursery, to prevent clutter but still keep them accessible. We use them for toys, books, small clothing items such as hats, etc.
I got this pod because I hate carrying a diaper bag around. For quick trips to the grocery store, or other brief trips, it is great.
I fit the pad, 2-3 size 5 diapers, a travel wipes case, and bottom cream in it. On the outside pocket, I keep a couple plastic diaper disposing baggies and a disposable bib for restaurants.
Great product if you have a child who doesn’t need change of clothes, or food brought along anymore. When I have my 2nd child in a couple months, I plan to use this in the large diaper bag with all my older son’s things still in it, so I can keep their diaper sizes separate and easy to find.
This is perfect for my two year old. I got the matching diaper bag when my son was born 3 months ago. This is a wonderful product. I snap it to the outside of the diaper bag when we go to church or my moms group because the kids go to 2 different places. I can just pull her stuff off and leave it with her and take the rest of the diaper bag to the nurcery for the baby.
