I have used this for about 11 months, my daughter is now 13 months, and it’s very handy. When we’re going out of the apartment for a short trip to someplace but longer than just running to the grocery store, I bring this. If we’re out for many hours, especially a trip in the car or airplane, I always bring the larger diaper bag. It was actually more useful when she was younger and I didn’t need to bring snacks, water bottle, toys, etc.
It only fits about 4 or 5 NB or size 1 diapers, and about 3 of the size 2 or size 3 diapers. A small pack of wipes and a travel-size for diaper cream. I’ve found that a full size diaper cream or vaseline bottle is a bit too bulky. But the small sizes (tubes) will fit in the mesh zipper bag. I also put in the front zipper part (on the outside) a bunch of small plastic bags for the dirty diapers and wipes when we’re not in a place near a garbage can like a public bathroom.
I am due in 5 weeks to have a baby girl and am ordering a diaper bag for myself. I am stuck on 2 kalencom brand diaper bags and need a little kalencom Cocoa help from experienced parents on which diaper bag looks the best for the price!
